Lost British Passport

I seem to have mislaid my passport in my house. I am sure it is here but numerous searches have yet to unearth it.

Can I travel on my old passport and ILR ?

yes as long as your pold passport is still valid. and you have to fill the boarding card I believe.

Report it as lost and get a replacement passport. Using fast track, you can get a new one in a week.

Spoke to an immigration officer at Gatwick who says as long as my passport is valid and I bring some proof of Citizenship I should be ok.
