Limiting the length of time temporary workers can stay in the UK, under certain Government Authorised Exchange schemes, to a maximum of 12 months. The schemes affected are intern, work experience and youth exchange type programmes.

I don't think YMS is affected.

I also do not think YMS is affected.

Have a look at the detailed rule changes document, and then read the notes at the end, in particular starting at 7.25, including 7.28.

Some sub-categories are affected, reducing the 24 months to 12 months, but I do not think that includes YMS.
