I wonder why my card has not yet been charged, since yours was charged the day of receipt.

I had sent a request for urgent treatment as well.

We will see...

Did you guys apply on your own or through some HSMP services agent?

I applied on my own--the services are all too expensive. Most of the people I've seen have applied on their own.

There is no need to go through an agent.

Okay, let's try this again. ;)

Application sent: Sept 20
Application received: Sept 22
CC charged: Sept 22

Let's see if my card works this time....

It's interesting that everyone seems to be getting charged the same day as receipt of application. They are getting faster, I guess.

i have ref in 085xxx series but its still pending. i don't think you can use this exactly as a pointer though. some get approval in 10 days and others in 30 days+. ref is based on when your application was received.

If I send my documents today and they reach the HO by lets say 29th Sep 2006 at the latest then,

What is the 12 month period for the Past earnings would the HO consider?
I am sending Sep 2005 to Aug 2006. Or would they need Sep2006 as well ?

In the case workers notes is beloq

"
The 12 month period
The period assessed for past earnings is the 12 months prior to the date the
application was received by Work Permits (UK) and all the evidence considered must
be relevant to that period. If the applicant has been studying during this period please
see paragraph below on time out of employment for study for more details."

A quick response would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks windmill for the update

How shall we track our status then. How much time does it take once the case worker is assigned?

hi guptaadityaa,

there is no way really other than calling the home office and finding how far have you reached. again, there is no fixed time for case worker also. i haven't sent an urgent treatment form and lanwarrior earlier posted a thread with "average" timings for people who post here.

it turns out it usually takes around 30-40 days after the application is received. that was then but in recent month i've feeling its become faster so lets see.

I received my reference number today, in the 086xxx series.

I submitted an urgent treatment form showing travel to the UK on Oct 3 (this is when I thought I was applying three weeks ago). Given that I just received my reference number today, do you think it's possible that I might get a decision in the next 8 days?

Application sent: Sept 20
Application received: Sept 22
CC charged: Sept 22
Received reference number: Sept 25
