Tourist visa for India - by post?

Hi,

I have applied for OCI after getting my UK passport but understand that it would take its own sweet (or bitter!) time to get processed.

I need to go to India in 2 weeks time so thinking of applying for a Tourist visa.

Does anyone has applied for a Tourist Visa by postal application to VFS? If yes, can you please share the time it took to get the visa after you posted your application?

I live in Belfast so going to any of the High Commissions is not a possibility unless someone on this forum tells me that I could get a Indian tourist visa from Belfast/Dublin High commission.
