Hello, My sister appllied for a visa from Sri Lanka to visit me in England and it was refused in July. We immediatley lodged the subsequent appeal and received a letter stating that there would be hearing after the 7th November. However, yesterday she has received a letter from the HM Courts and Tribunals Service, stating that "The Respondant has withdrawn appeal" and further stating that "The HM Courts and Tribunals Service is satisfied that this appeal has been withdrawn" I am confused; Does this mean that she will be getting a visa after all? If so what is the next step? Are they going to notify her about entry clearence by letter/email or phone call? How long it will take? Any response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mangi.
