Traffic offenses

Post by bakilabakila » Sun Nov 23, 2025 12:13 am

Hello all,

I am going to apply for my ILR in march, but have a problem need help.

I had two traffic offenses, the first one is in 2021 SP30, took the awareness course, so no fine no points endorsement. In 2022 got another SP30 speeding, get 3 points endorsement and £100 fine, did pay the fine immediately but forgot to send my driver license t DVLA. Later on £100 fine refunded and get a Single Justice Procedure from court of SP30, pledge guilty and pay the fine with 3 points endorsement.

Consult with some online solicitor, they said I should draft a cover letter and ask my family or friends also draft one for me to explain I am no longer a bad driver and it should be fine.

Can someone give me some suggestion of my case? Thank you so much.

There is no issue. You do not need a cover letter at all
