Hi all,
This link may be useful for any non-EU national thinking of changing flights in Austria/Vienna.

Useful information.

Also note that the list of nationalities needing a DATV ... Direct Airside Transit Visa ... has been defined to be the same for all Schengen area countries ... although of course any application would need to be made to the relevant country's embassy or consulate.
