Transiting through UK with Irish Stamp 4 visa

I'm non-EU and Irish Stamp 4 holder. Do I need a visa to transit through UK (staying less than 24 hours)?

Not sure if Stamp4 qualify as valid common format residence permit issued by an EEA state in the quoted pages above.

Transit visa isn't about your Stamp. It's about your nationality.

Don't think Chinese people require a transit visa to pass through the UK, provided you're staying airside.

Yes, theoretically, it does count as an EEA-issued permit. But from what I've seen on this forum, not advisable due to CTA intricacies (for example, try to put "ROI" and "Somewhere else" as an answer and observe the difference - https://www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa/y/china/transit).

Personally I've gone through UK ~2 years ago (Stamp 4) and was let through, but would prefer a different option if possible.
