Travel date should be less than 3 months from the application filing date.dhruv wrote:Hi All
In the form VAF 9, its asking for a travel date. I believe this will be the visa starting date too. I looked for some answers but couldnt find any. May be I missed something.
Does anyone know how far out I can put the visa starting/travel date?
Thanks
Dhruv
Yes, the travel date will also be the visa start date and it can be no more than 90 days beyond your visa application date.dhruv wrote:Hi All

What would be the case with dependent applicants ?Although, once you have received the VISA you are able to enter UK any time during the validity of the VISA (your ILR clock will start from the day of your first entry though)
