EU Travel for UK Residence Permit (Spouse/Partner) Holders

HI,

My partner has just been granted her UK Residence Permit to stay for 30 months and 28 days under the 5 year partner route. She is an Indian Citizen and wondered if she still required Visas to go to European countries?

We have not been able to travel with ease to the continent as she had to obtain a Schengen Visa everytime.

Does she still require a Visa to enter European countries?

Yes, Schengen visa needed.

If married, Schengen not legally required but always best to have one, since Stupid etc err on the side of caution, and will deny boarding unless all boxes are ticked. Depends if you want a holiday or grief all the way....
