Travel outside the UK as waiting for curtailment letter

Post by newlee » Wed Aug 11, 2021 12:41 pm

- My old employer informed home office on 14 June 2021 of my end working date with them
- My BRP valid till 2024
- Have not yet received the curtailment letter
- New employer hasn't been able to apply for new visa yet as applying for their sponsorship license first

Can I travel with my old BRP (valid till 2024) and re-enter UK? or advise to not travel

Permission that has been cancelled (what used to be called curtailed leave) lapses when you leave the UK, so it cannot be used to re-enter.

If you really want the reference, it is here:

I still have a valid BRP and my new company hasn't applied for the new visa. The home office hasn't sent me any notice to leave, and my old BRP when I check online still shows active. So can I not leave for 10 days and return?
On re-entry at immigration, when they will check my BRP it will be valid?

See my previous answer! You seem determined to risk it, so I guess nothing I say here will change your mind.
