Travel to the UK under Tier1 psw

Post by joy_wjj » Mon Nov 28, 2011 2:42 pm

Anybody pls help~~~~~~
I want to travel to Uk at Jan,2012, and my visa will expire till Dec.2012, but I already came back to my country and stayed above 7months, would i reject by the IO?
Do i need to apply for the visitor visa or not?
If not, what should I explain to the IO for long time leave?
And I also want to bring my mother with me to travel.

Tks

I don't see why it should be a problem

I used to have the commonwealth visa (now discontinued) which gave me the right to work in the UK over a space of two years. However I was working in my home country and used that visa to visit the UK twice, with the time between each visit being 12 months. I didn't have any problems with the Immigration officer. If they ask, then be honest.

As for your mom, well...she will have to apply for a visitation visa.
