Travel vignettes expired- can dependent travel on BRP

Hi

I have got a tier 2 (general visa) five year. I and my family were given a 30 day travel visa starting 11th July to 11th August.
I entered UK within that time but my family due to some reason can not travel with in that 30 day time. I have collected their BRP which says that they got 5 year visa.

Can they travel on BRP if 30 days travel visa has expired ?(i can send brp via courier) or do they need to get another 30 day travel visa?

Could you please answer this on urgent basis as I have to make decision today.

My application was done by lawyers and they received the BRPs which were forwarded to me.

Something doesn't seem right here. It is permitted to nominate someone to collect a BRP (who can be a legal representative) if:
you have a serious illness or disability that prevents you from collecting it
you’re under 18 and can’t collect your BRP with your parent or guardian
However:
If the Home Office approves this request, a letter of authority will be posted. The person collecting your BRP must bring this letter, the identity document selected above and your passport containing the vignette (sticker) to the Post Office when they collect your BRP.

How did the legal representative have your family members' passports?

Also in addition to my previous post, the passport vignette should show the UK entry stamp when it is presented to the Post Office for collection of the BRP.
Action at Post Office:
 The third party collector must present to Post Office staff their own unexpired identity
document as detailed in the Home Office letter of authority.
 The customer’s passport must be presented to Post Office staff, along with the Home
Office letter of authority.
 The vignette in the customer’s passport must have been endorsed by the Immigration
Officer’s landing stamp on arrival in the UK
 The Post Office will refuse to proceed with the transaction if any of the documents
required are missing, not as specified in the letter of authority or the vignette has not
been endorsed.


IMHO your family will have to apply for replacement BRPs (for a fee) as the IO at the UK port of entry will query why they are in possession of BRPs but have no entry endorsement on their passport vignettes.

Your family need to apply for a replacement vignette, which is a pain but is the correct thing to do.

If your family use the BRP the IO may figure out what has happened. That could lead to problems for you and your solicitor. Solicitors are required to see the endorsed 30 day vignette before handing over the BRP, it is part of the agreement they made with UKVI so that thier clients don't all have to go the Post Office.

Your family do NOT have leave to enter until their vignette is activated by the IO. If that doesn't happen then the BRP is what your solicitor would call "evidence of a nullity".

If your family pretend to the IO that they have arrived previously and collected their BRPs they will be making a false representation, which would allow the IO to refuse them at the airportand might lead to curtailment action against you for having assisted their attempt to enter without leave.

A false representation can be silent, as in handing over the BRP, smiling as if nothing was wrong and letting the IO assume they have entered previously but weren't stamped in. If the IO is any good they will check for exit stamps (missing) and realise the fraud anyway.
