UK travel visa on expired passport

Hello everyone

I wasn't sure where to post this topic hence posting here, apologies if this is not the right place.
I am bringing my mother in few months to UK on travel visa, her passport will expire in 2026 and I am planning to apply 5 yrs travel visa. Would she able to get the 5 yrs travel visa? And when the current passport expires can she use the visa vignette on old passport to tavel to UK after 2026 along with a new passport?
