Hi all,
Just some feedback from my experience.
I was required to travel for work after my naturalisation ceremony but before I had a chance to apply for my passport. Like the previous poster I am on dual-nationality.
Initially I had no problems but later when arriving into Heathrow T5 and Heathrow T2, Border Agency had a problem processing my fingerprints. It turns out that once naturalised, your finger prints are removed from the system as you are technically a British citizen.
When I first experienced the problem, I was lucky that another security offical had experienced this before and informed the official handling my case. During my subsequent trips, I had to inform the officials of the same and was told to wait in the waiting area while they checked my docs at the back-office. They would come back and confirm that this was indeed the case.
So while you are allowed to travel, you may encounter difficulty at border control but let them know the situation and it will be fine. Although it is quite frustrating and confusing. Seems a bit silly that your prints are removed though...
