Traveling outside uk before the biometrics date.

Hi , not sure if posted at right place. I am about to submit my citizenship application next week. However i need to travel to my home country mid may as my mum has a surgery. I need to ask can i travel before my biometrics date or do i need to visit my biometrics first and then travel outside uk. As i know we can travel outside uk even if citizenship application is pending but not sure it means if we can travel before submitting biometrics. Can i submit my application and then come back from my trip and submit biometrics?

Yes you can, as long as you can come back for your biometric appointment. You have to attend the appointment within 45 days of submitting your application.

Yes you can. I would advise to book the biometrics appointment immediately after you apply and arrange the trip in order to be back in time to attend it. As advised you have 45 working days to attend.
