Travelling with ILR

Post by marshal8732 » Sat May 18, 2019 3:44 pm

Hi

I like to inquire about traveling with ILR.

What sort of questions are asked when travelling back into the country.

Also does the IO as about previous visas?

ILR was obtained on LR

Why are you worried? You should be able to answer all questions anyways.

IO can ask any questions they want. Be prepared to answer any/all questions.

I just travelled back. Was only asked if I liked living here.. lol.
We had 30 sec chat in which the guy was not so happy due to the weather or Brexit.
Point is it’s usually a light talk as in my experience in most countries.
But they can ask abt how ur business is running, family ties.. etc..

So that is your worry. Dont worry, you have no restriction after ILR. You can have your own business or employed whatever.
