I too don't think that a traveller's cheque is a wise choice.. It may direct to rejection too.. If you want to be extra sure, why don't you call up the BHS helpline in your country? Bank statement is what everybody submits.

In my husband's case, a part amount has flown to his a/c by selling our car (as we were going to sell it later, anyhow).. So, to be safe we have even provided the sale receipt, notarized copy of the cheque from the buyer, notarized copy of RC book, insurance papers, etc.

You know, it's better to play safe, then feel sorry later.. That's what I have learnt from this forum seeing various posts in the past.. I suggest you to be safe too.. :)
Regards,
Debjani.

The people here are trying to help you by advising you because sofar there are not any peole yet have used this evidence in lieu of bank statements. Also, have you ever seen you are allowed to submit TC in the guidance ??? The answer might not be what you want to hear. BUt people provide you answer to what they believe is true to increase your chance for approval not what you want to hear.

FYI, peole who seems comply with evidence that are stated in the guidance (e.g Bank stsemenet) still got rejected. So it is common sense to assume that they will not accept TC. But if you do not believe that then go on with your submission. Noone will know it for sure before you try it. Please report you experience to other members, sothat other might learn from your expereince.
