Tupe Transfer and Dependent Visa Application

Hi Gurus ,

I had changed my Visa from ICT ( Established staff ) to Tier 2 general on June(Issue date : June 15 2013) . The company that was sponsoring me ( Company A ) was taken over by another company last Month ( Company B ) . Company B is a tier 2 Arated sponsor and has told me that they have send the necessary paper work to UKBA and has made the necessary changes in their SMS 2 weeks back . Today i checked again with them and my HR repled the status is still showing as pending

I have the following queries and require your immediate help on this as i am planning to raise the dependent permit for my wife on April 22 , ( Application forms to be submitted today or tomorrow )

1 ) Should i wait to raise the Tier 2 dependent visa for my wife ( now in India ) till the status changes in the SMS .

2 ) If i have to wait , How long will UKBA generally take to confirm the TUPE .

3 ) I joined company A only on Sep 5 2013 though my start date was 20/July/2013 as per the COS ( I went back to India on July 8th after collecting my Visa ,which i got by post on 07/July ) .

In the main applicants section for Tier2 dependent they are asking the startdate and End date of the Job .
Please confirm whether i have to Put the dates in the Visa ( Valid from to ) or that in the Cos , or the date i joined the new company ( SEPTEMBER 5TH ) .

Please help me at the earliest .

if your job SOC code doesn't change when you are transferred to Company B you don't have to make a change of employment application and the work end date stated in the CoS that was assigned to you by Company A remains the same. In your wife's application under main applicant's work start/end dates put the dates in your current CoS.

Although the transfer has no bearing on your wife's PBS dependant application it may be wise to wait for confirmation from HR that the HO have no concerns about the transfer. Ask HR to phone the HO employer helpline (0300 123 4699).
