UCos Assignment not Approved

Hi all,

My employer forgot to renew his Unrestricted COS for the year in April. When it finally came to renewing my visa, we had to opt for the priority service. Number is 01142071315 for those who might need it. Note the number is always very busy. I tried calling more than 200 times. I finally managed to get through on 23/01/19 and employer paid the £200 charge. The Cos was renewed the next day. My employer then assigned the cos on same day. However he is saying it is not yet approved on the SMS system.

I was wondering if any of you have ever encountered such a situation and how long it takes for the Cos to be approved.

According to what you are saying it seems that UKVI allocated new COS after you opted for priority service. You also confirmed that the employer have assigned you COS successfully, without successful allocation(approval) from UKVI it was not possible to assign COS to you.

Did you employer provide you COS number? If yes then you can use that to send Tier 2 application, this is only what you need and there shouldn't be any problem.
