Losing job

Post by youcef410428 » Fri Jun 11, 2021 8:42 am

Hello

What happened if you decide to leave your job 2 months before the ILR qualification date.

In ILR application, shall I prove I earned money continuously since I've been awarded the global talent visa?

There is no requirement to have a job or business during the application for ILR.

Just make sure to retain proof of the most recent earnings from the job before leaving (P60, P45, payslips, bank statements).

Thanks for your reply.
I found this in the home office website:

- hsve spent no more than 180 days outside the UK in any 12 month period (known as continuous residence)
- still be doing paid work in the field you came to the UK to work in
- pass the Life in the UK Test
- meet the English language requirements

Post by youcef410428 » Wed Jun 16, 2021 9:39 pm

Hi everyone

I hope you're doing well and,
I've been endorsed by British academy of engineering, I still have 5 months to apply for ILR, I want to stop working and do a course, dose this affect my ILR apicaruon as I'll be full time student no income for six months.

Thanks

You can study if you want. you can apply as a selfemployed for the ILR. So you can move as a selfemploied by doing a registration , see the link: https://www.gov.uk/working-for-yourself
you then submit a tax file as a selfemployed when govt ask to do.
