Hi Mate,wanderer05 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 14, 2020 8:37 amThanks for the confirmation. Will wait upto 6 weeks before chasing it up with UKVI/HOME OFFICE
There is something wrong with their process.wanderer05 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 9:40 amHello,
Am still awaiting for refund and literally counting weeks before I escalate it.
It shouldn't be due to Covid as what Home Office says it is automated process so might be taking sometime to clear backlog but we have only one way and that is to follow up after each SLA breach. Not ideal way though.

I have escalated for the third time now. When I ask them is their any progress on my refund processing.
The customer services just say you need to wait 10 days, post which we can again escalate it for you and you'll need to ring us if you want to escalate again.
It's been 3 months waiting for the refund.
If thinking of writing a letter to the home office now.
Along with writing a letter (which may not work!), try to raise it with 'complaints@homeoffice.gov.uk' as well.honestguy2020 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 6:55 pmThere is something wrong with their process.wanderer05 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 9:40 amHello,
