New rules

Post by Razor123 » Mon Feb 05, 2024 7:21 am

Hi I am an employer

I have some staff who have Graduate visas ending towards the end of the year

They both earn under the £38.7k salary.

Under the existing table of code which our business is im not sure has been updated as it says £32k on Gov site, this salary is possible.

We were due to enrol to be a sponsor towards summer but if we do it now and fast track (Gov website says for additional £500) a decision is made in 10 days then add our employees to sponsor them will that be possible if it’s done before April we can enrol our employees at £32k salary?

Or as it’s a new sponsorship and the rules have changed the salary has to be £38.7k?

Until the change date for the new rules the current rules remain in place. The earlier you apply for a sponsor license the better, if you are trying to secure the employment of those under the graduate route.
As long as you are licensed and issue the COS under the existing rules that freezes the salary threshold.
