New Tier 2 General Licence and Tupe Transfer

Hi,

As of now I have Tier 2 general Sponsored by A comany which was acquired by B comapny

All A company employees will “TUPE transfer” into B comapany and the changes will be in effect on April 2019 and payslip will be changed with new payee reference number from 1-April-2019

Can you help me to understand how long will it take to get new licnece approved by Home office?

and can I be employed by an employer by tupe transfer who has no licence?
