Hi

My situation is pretty similar. Hope someone can help me with this.

I have ILR whereas my wife needs an extension for her visa now. She will be completing her 2 years in UK soon.

She previously applied for PBS Dependant – Partner Visa from India. However it seems this visa category is no more available. Can someone please guide me which visa category I should apply for her extension?

Thanks in advance
Rahul

Thanks, but the form usually comes when you select outside the UK? Can you confirm the options you used to get to the form?

I think yes, I contacted them from outside of UK. If you’re within the UK, you can contact them via the phone number they provide.

I made third escalation today with UKVI,
They responded
" Thank you for contacting us in relation to your Skilled Worker application.

We have had a look into your application and unfortunately the delay is due to an technical issue which is preventing the application being allocated to a caseworker.

We have contacted our IT department and requested the matter is resolved as soon as possible.

Once the matter has been resolved we will aim to make a decision as soon as possible.

Please accept our apologies for the delay and inconvenience this is causing."

Not sure how much truth in this.

How do you escalate? I've been trying to find the resources and can't seem to find something that works.

Hi all,

I applied tier2 visa with dependent on April 6 and I gave biomatric at April 16th. On third week I got a mail from home office that My job designation was not in SOP list so they told to pay the difference amount to proceed with the application by filling a form with card details. I gave my card details and they took money on 5th week.
Its been 3 Months now, I haven't got any update after that. I don't know, what to do as next step... any Idea How long it will take to get decision?

I just wanted to let you all know that my application for skilled worker visa applied in standard process is approved now. Its approved after 11 weeks 3 days (Biometrics was on 28 Apr). I need to wait for my BRP to start working.

Hope all the applications will be cleared soon

currently in-UK application standard process timelines are 12 weeks if there is no issue with the application. I got the news today and hope you will get in this week.

My skilled worker visa (incountry ) was approved after 8 weeks 4 days. Tourist visa is getting issued after 10 weeks. They are slowly clearing the backlog which are 8 - 10 weeks old is my guess.

I did not escalate. I was planning to do after 12 weeks.

I would like to ask whether skilled worker dependent visa needs to pay for IHS fee? My husband is working in the NHS as a FY1 doctor. In some reason, he is not qualified for the health and care visa yet.

@Sandeep - did you get your visa approved?
I am moving from skilled worker to skilled worker dependent visa since my job contract got over. I applied on May4th (10 weeks up) using the Immigration ID check app, and no response :-( Super worried looking at all the posts here!

I tried calling the support and they said there is no way other than waiting.

Best

I did try to escalate but I got an automated response saying that it might take up to 20 working days for them to revert back.
I already have another job offer and would be super helpful if I can get the visa as early as possible.
Is there any other way to expedite? Thanks a lot for any help / guidance
