Hi, just wondering if you have got your visa decision from Home Office yet? I am also on the same boat. I have submitted application of 18-Aug and they said there was an IT error. 12 Weeks gone and still waiting for the decision.vvd2212 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 11:18 amNo I have not received mine yet. And my CoS will expire on 17 Nov and my visa decision is not out yet what should I do ?
CoS and visa application these are the legal documents I have and more over on the process its on 9 weeks time span now. I am worried as well. Even after the ISC so what can I do ? Even my sponsor has mailed them about the home office so waiting on for the decision.
So did you finally received the visa now and how long did it took you?user_one wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 10:54 amI had applied on the 17th of August for switching from one skilled worker permit to another (priority application). Received an email from the UKVI saying that they need further information regarding my employers’ requirement to pay Immigration Skill Charge.
My employer chased they to for a top-up link, after several back and forth email they finally sent the link on the 12th September. My employer paid on the same day.
I am now waiting for the outcome. It is the 7th working day now, I initially thought my application will be considered within 5 working days after paying the top-up.
For those who did not receive the top-up link. Ask your employer to email the business help desk (businesshelpdesk@homeoffice.gov.uk)
The CoS and a successful application is what will grant the right to work. So officially you can not work and the forum does not encourage and will not facilitate what is againstvvd2212 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 26, 2023 1:24 pmAfter some Chained Emails I have recevied this Emails and what can I say about the work stabdards of UKVI.

I received the below email (not straight forward application ) email for my kids application (PBS Dependent Child). Anyone received same ? If yes, from your experience after how many days of biometric you received the visa decision ?
I heard they send this email when they are lot of backlog applications and hence they will miss the standard SLAs ? Please comment on any experiences around this.
I filed for visa outside UK (India) and biometric was done on 12-April-24.
Got the below NSF application email on 22-April.
It was Standard application (not priority)
Type : PBS Skilled worker Dependent child
