Skilled worker dependent visa extension

Hi,

If I have ILR and my partner still have skilled worker dependent visa.
My partner’s visa will expire in a coming month.
I left my job and not working now.

My questions are:
Does my partner’s visa terminated once I quit the job? As the visa instantiate by the company I was working on?
If I want to extend her visa, which type will be and what period will be granted if applicable?
Does this count with the previous visa period to grant the 5 years period to apply for ILR?

Apply for a skilled worker dependent visa extension. It will be a 3 year extension

This is a total misunderstanding of what a dependent visa is. It seems applicants think their dependant visas are somehow connected to the main applicant's job. Only the main applicant's visa depends on the sponsored job. The dependant's status simply depends on whether the main applicant is a lawful resident in the UK. When you get ILR, your work circumstances become totally irrelevant as you are no longer under the sponsored visa route. Your dependents can continue under the visa route as dependants as normal. Their status as dependants will not change

Hi,
I have skilled worker visa expired in end of 2024.
My partner’s dependent visa expired in a week.
I started an application for extending her visa, but form the information need to provide is the passport, but the passport is expired and I can’t go forward the application as the passport should be vaild at the time of applying. Renewing and issuing the passport in my home country will take a month or more.
Please what to do in this case?

How will she travel to your home country to renew the passport if it has already expired?

Why can you not renew it in the UK?

Why have you not renewed it well in advance of it expiring?

You need a valid passport to apply for an extension or evidence that it has been applied for and is delayed.
