TIER 2 SKILLED WORKER DEPENDANT

1. I am a Tier 2 skilled worker (NHS) in the UK and my husband is yet to file his visa application as a Tier 2 dependant.I currently stay in a shared accommodation. As I am still looking out for houses in the UK ,I don't have an accommodation to show in the visa application for both of us. Is accommodation a mandatory requirement for the dependent arriving in the UK? If it's yes, can I mention my current stay as an accommodation for him?Is a letter or tenancy agreement as a proof required?

2.My job occupation code falls under the mandatory requirement of PCC(police clearance certificate).But Does my husband, being a dependant needs a PCC? is it a mandatory requirement for him?
