Uk Tier 2 ict resignation

Hi Experts ,

I am in tier 2 ict and have resigned from my company . Post serving my notice period say my last date of work is jan 17 2020.

I understand once end of assignment is generated , there will be deregistration of visa done.
Would I get any letter from home office telling by when I can leave or I have to exit the country the same day or so ?

I am very confused on this topic .

What is your ICT visa end date. ?

It is unlikely you will get a letter from home office. Unless your employer informs them.

You can leave the country whenever u want within your visa end date. But you must not work here.

What is your exact confusion? In case of ICT you will be asked to travel to home country by the company to completely exit formalities if I am not wrong. Don't you wantu travel back immediately?

My employer said they are informing home office and then within 2 days I have to leave uk .

I was requesting a 2 week time before I step out of country .

I am moving from uk straight to Dublin my place of work as I intend not to go to my home country .

Confusion is when my employer informs home office of my resignation , are their any number of days I need to leave that I need to keep in mind. Don’t want to break any law

If you just wanna stay 2 weeks for cleanup activities then don't worry. This should not be an issue. You won't break law staying 2 weeks with a valid visa.

Usually it is 60 days I reckon that you must leave but I don't know the documentation.

I have heard moderators saying Ireland and UK exchange employee / Worl permit information. ? Have you got your Ireland visa?

My brp has a end date of March 13 2020.
Yes I just want to stay to give full notice to rentals.. and just clean up and leave .

Yes sure I got an employment in Dublin and they sponsored the visa- critical skill one

In addition my current employer said they would update home office by jan 17 for de registration of visa.
