I am applying for a UK Standard Visitor Visa and have stated my intended travel date as June. However, I plan to submit my application in March. Will my visa validity start from the date of approval, or will it be aligned with my stated travel date? I want to ensure my visa remains valid for my entire intended stay. Could you clarify how the start date is typically determined? Thank you!

I guess it all depends on the ECO. Visa if approved, could start from date of issue or date of intended travel. It's almost a roll of the dice sometimes.
