Innovator Visa Query - Not straight forward email

Hi everyone,

I am currently in the process of applying for the Tier 1 Innovator visa.

Obviously, not a fun process to go through-- here is my timeline:

(All of this is through priority, btw)

Submit application -- 21st of Feb.
Biometrics/Documents uploaded -- 24th of Feb.
Application not straightforward email -- 26th of Feb.

Trying not to panic at the not straightforward email. To be fair, I don't have much business experience and the business plan I submitted was an executive summary, but in all fairness I did get endorsement through pitching, hard work, etc. and I thought fo the innovator route they don't need to do a 'viability' (in terms of business) check if endorsement is given.

Wondering what else could make my application 'not straightforward'-- any thoughts?

You can't do much about it. These are canned emails they send when they are not going to meet the deadlines for whatever reason.

You have to wait. If they need any information, they will contact you.

I guess, the thing that stresses me out most is that I don't have many timelines to compare mine too? I know there's one other board member on here who got it within 5 business days with a priority visa, but it took him also 6 weeks to initially be rejected (and I'm assuming they used those six weeks to do additional checks).

This. is. so. nerve-wracking.

Thought I'd share the news, and give others the rest of my timeline:

March 2nd, 2020-- I got the application is ready email, and picked up my visa

This just goes to show you that the 'non-straightforward' email really doesn't mean anything really.
