Start up Visa - duration

Hi Experts,

Will the Start up Visa be issue for exact 2 years or 2 years + 4 months like the Tier 4 Visa?

It is a completely different visa and is also not a points based visa.

You can stay in the UK for 2 years on a Start-up visa.

You cannot apply to extend this visa.

I understand it is a different type of Visa. In many visa types, additional 4 months are given. Like Tier 4 Visa and say from Tech Nation website for Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa: "This visa can be granted for up to 5 years for applications made from inside the UK, or 5 years and 4 months for applications from outside the UK."

Similarly, I would like to know if additional 4 months on top of 2 years will be granted or not for Start up Visa.

No. The initial visa is granted only for 2 years.
