You must provide all the appropriate specified documents needed to establish the amount you have already invested from the following list.
i.Audited accounts :Registered companies that are required to produce audited accounts must do so.
For information on who needs to produce these accounts please refer to the Companies House website on

Unaudited accounts and an accountant’s certificate of confirmation
Businesses that are not required to produce audited accounts must provide unaudited accounts, sometimes called management accounts, together with an accounts
compilation report from a suitably regulated accountant (see below).
Audited or unaudited accounts must be prepared and signed off in accord ance with statutory requirements and must clearly show the investment in money made directly
by you, in your own name, or on your behalf and showing your name.
You should indicate where this is shown on your evidence. If you have invested by way of share capital the business accounts must show the shareholders, the amount
and value of the shares (on the date of purchase) in your name as it appears on your application. If the value of your share capital is not shown in the accounts,
then share certificates should be submitted in addition to the accounts as documentary evidence. The accounts should clearly show the name of the accountant and the
date the accountswere produced.
The accountant must be a member of a recognised UK supervisory body (see glossary); if not, we will not accept this evidence.
The accounts must show how much you have invested in the business

Director’s loan

I am sure if some one running a company with such big invesment surely taking advice from good register accountant.
In that case option 1 or 2 are easy, I guess.

Hi Guys, i have a similar question,
i have already invested 50k into my business in the form of director's loan with an agreement that loan is unsecured and subordinate to 3rd parties and it's duration is 10 years and there won't be any interest payable towards loan by the company towards me,
now my questions are
1) is it sufficient to leave the money ( 50 K) in my business account as my business dosen't need any furthr investment as i provide it services and my company earn good money through 3 contract which is good enough to pay salaries to my employees and meet out running cost of the company, why would i unnecessary put the money in buying business premises or taking a lease, when my rented office is enough.
2) or can i buy a business premises in the name of my company as money has been in business account now and have my business registered there with all the bills and counsil tax.
3) will buying a business premises in the name of my company after giving loan to company , will it considered as investment ot will they consider it to be bought for the purpose of reselling as they have pointed out in the guide lines, but i'll be registering my business there.

it would be more better if u transfer funds to your business account and show as a director loan agreement. This means that you have given your funds to business (company) and company has signed a loan agreement with u i.e. director loan agreement. More safe side... Better to show your funds in business account..

Main Contents of Director Loan Agreement

This agreement is made and entered by between Mr ABC & Mr XYZ independent persons and referred as to as ‘Directors’ and Business Company Ltd.

In consideration of the covenant and condition hereinafter set forth, Mr ABC and Mr XYZ – Directors and company agrees as follows:

1 – Term
This agreement commences from the start of ARD (accounting reference date) of company. The Directors & Company may terminate the loan agreement at any time with mutual consent of both the parties except for payment due to third party/parties creditors prior to date of such terminations

2 – Interest Rate
There is consensus between both the parties that the Directors Loan is “Interest Free”.

3 – Tenure
The tenure of Loan Agreement will be for three years and renewable with the consensus of both the parties depending upon the profitability index of an enterprise.

4 – Loan Security
The Director’s Loan is unsecured and subordinated in favour of third party short term and/or long term creditors.

5 – Loan Amount
The outstanding balance of loan is amounting to £50,000.00 as on 13th June 2015.

6 – Confidentiality and Ownership
The loan agreement recognises and acknowledges the confidentiality of all financial and other information of the company obtained by directors during the performance of his duties and obligations
