So I have checked with my accountant, he is saying that his software just produces RTIFPS like this and asking me to create a template myself. Please could you guide me on what happens in such circumstances.

Check what software he is using. Some of them (Sage, for example) generate an XML version of the submission which has the detailed information and can be used.

in the worst case, others here have used a software called Moneysoft to recreate the FPS. I think that is not the correct way to do it but it appears to have worked before.

You can submit it at any time before the expiry of your current visa

Okay thank you - the software the accountant uses is IRIS and they are saying cant get that sort of data. They have given me all the wage slips, payroll summaries though and the RTIFPS audit reports.

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to say a quick thank you as my dad got his extension. You have been so so so helpful! very grateful :-)

I have decided that for the next phase I will start collating documents right at the start rather than clamouring at the end.

Please can you let me know what this means in the guidance. Does this mean that the 80 percent has to be from the employer and not via the govt scheme?

Time when your employees were furloughed will count towards the 12 month period, if they have
been paid 80% of their normal salary throughout their period of furlough.

Thanks
Aaina

No, it just means the employee needs to be paid at least 80% in total (which is also a condition of the grant itself)

Hi, I need help with the consecutive 12 months and rolling basis query as I now have more clarity on when the extension was provided.

Tier 1 Entrepreneur Leave Granted From 26 /09/17
ILR Application Date -26/09/22 (5 years from 2017)
First extension is granted on 07/02/2021

Which periods will be counted as continuous and which one will come in rolling considering the rule came in January 2018 but the guidance states that:

For settlement applications made from 11 January 2018, we consider absences from the UK on a rolling basis, rather than in separate consecutive 12-month periods. If your qualifying period includes leave granted before this date any absences during that leave will be considered under the previous rules – in separate 12-month periods, ending on the same date as you make your settlement application.
For example:
You apply for settlement on 30 June 2020. Your continuous period includes the following grants of leave:
• One grant of leave from 1 July 2015 to 28 July 2018 – Any absences during this grant of
leave will be considered in separate 12 month periods, ending on 30 June each year. ****Note this contains period after January 2018 too****
• One grant of leave from 29 July 2018 to 30 June 2020 – Any absences during this grant of
leave will be considered on a rolling basis. We will not include any absences from the previous grant of leave when we assess this.”

Thanks
Aaina

This depends on your date of application for ILR.

As an example, if you apply on 31/08/22, then 1/09/17 to 31/08/18 will be on 12 months and the rest will be rolling basis.
