Congrats friend

Did you get you employee sign the passport photocopy?

Also, how do you show job hours calculations? My employees are on gross annual salary. Is there a template to show total hours and does this needs to be approved by my accountant?

Thanks

No Need for employee to sign passport i just stamped with ORIGINAL SEEN.

Employee hours can be calculated : total pay /pay per hour it will give you total monthly/weekly ( depends how often you pay ) hours. you just need to write the hours you claiming in the application form. if youir payslips show hours and pay per hour the just write those in the application form, not needed to be approved by accountants, thanks

Thanks for your reply.

I pay monthly salary. On pay slip it does not show hours.

My employee work 32 hours a week. I have a employee contract to prove that. But for calculation is it true i can only claim max. total 130 hours a month. Do i need to make a table and show how many hours each employee has worked?
I am on pre apr 2014 route. Does total 3120 hours rule apply to me.

Also, does all the FPS report for each month need to be signed by accountant or myself.

Thanks

32 hrs a week covers a full time job requirement, yes if an employee is doing more than 30 hours a week then HO only counts 30 and the rest not counted but if your employee is doing 32 a week you are good to claim it as full time job. on the form there is table where you have to mention all hours and hourly rate etc.having hours and hourly rate on the payslips is preferable but if you dont have then you can send contract to prove what you are claiming.

Only director/s can sign FPS Reports, Accountant does not need to sign

Thanks for your reply.

So, for example if my employee worked for 12 months 32 hours a week on gross annual salary of £12,200. How do i calculate hourly rate? Is it total salary/ 52 weeks and then divide by 32?

Does it need to be total minimum 3250 hours for both employees taking max. as 130 hours a month for 24 months.

Thanks

12,200 /52 = £234.62 a week ..then 234.62/32 = 7.33 is the hourly rate.
total hours for your employee (1) = 52 x 32 =1664 hours

This has wobbled and wavered way off topic from itpba's original post.
Takeaway: everyone is pleased s/he got her/his extension - and all done without interview to boot.
