Intial application taking long

Hi,

It's been three months I have applied the visa. Recd only complex letter a month ago. Since then haven't heard or nor a call for interview.
Just want to idea how long is it taking for people with this amount of backlog.
Isn't there any time frame that it cannot go above it.

It can take much longer when it is complex. You should wait to hear back.

Yes, Without passport a man becomes disabled and if you are into business it kills you when you can't travel for ur work.
Anyway will have to wait. Been 3 months why not a month more.
