Received letter from HO to the MP

Hi Senior members
applied for our tier 1 extension on 2march2017, emailed MP to intervene with HO for expedition of the process in December
However today we received post from MP with a letter attached from HO saying application is complex and requires more time
Is this normal?
Is MP notified with a post from the HO
Please share some knowledge on this

yes this is common letter sent to MPs now a days.

It’s normal and useless to contact MP. I contacted twice but HO responded same thing to MP that There is complex issue in my application but better be patience and wait

There is no expediting process and MPs have no influence on your application process.
