Second Interview after the PAP Application

Post by vkbpj » Mon Sep 02, 2019 10:16 am

Hi

My Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa (team of two) was rejected and then AR was also rejected. Reason of rejection was a failure to answer some questions in the interview the way caseworker was expecting, so they had a doubt on genuineness. We were not happy with the decision and went ahead with PAP.

We applied for PAP and now we have received the second interview invitation.

Questions
1. Only one applicant has received the interview invitation and not the other applicant. Is this fine or normal?

2. Anyone who was interviewed the second time, can I expect similar questions or is it something completely different?

Regards
Raj

Hello Raj,
When is your interview ?
How it went ?
Was interview questions were same or different ?

When they accepted PAP after how many days they emailed you asking for interviews again or they sent this with PAP reply

Or once they accepted PAP and written they will get back to you in 3 months and after few days you got interview call ?

Please advise as we are in the same boat

Hi

The interview is on 20th Sept, I am not sure of the questions as that is what I am asking here in case some one is being in the same situation.

We got the interview notification after within a month of PAP reply.

Hi

Our visa is rejected and I am not satisfied with the rejection reason.

All the reasons given are completely wrong and in case they are not happy with any answer why can't they clarify before rejecting the visa?

Three reasons
1. They are not happy with the research done on Location selected. (We have given enough reasons for choosing the location and we want to set the business at that location and it's our business)
2. Not happy with competitors response (they are comparing apples with oranges)
3. Not happy with the break up of £200K (they don't even know the business, how can they understand the breakup which we have given, in case they have any more questions, why can't they ask and clarify)

Is there a way to speak with them and have a session or a discussion rather than giving an interview to someone who just keeps typing the answer and the person who is typing is not the one who will make the decision, this is so weird.

Thanks
Raj

Hi

Yes, you can go for PAP if you want.

We are still waiting to hear back the outcome of AR, its been more than 28 days now. Does anyone know how much more HO can take to make the decision on AR ?

Regards,
Raj

Hi

As par their guidance, its 28 days they have to decide AR.
Very strange that HO taking longer. They took a 28 days on mine.
Let say if I go for PAP and then JR. Does anyone know how long will it take for whole process? And what if the decision come against us? Can we apply again or any other category? I have a child born in the uk. And 4 years old.

Starting different business

Post by vkbpj » Tue Aug 25, 2020 10:44 pm

Hello All,

We finally got the Tier1 Entrepreneur Visa last month after 2 years of to and fro

2 years back we decided to do Business "A". The business plan submitted along with the visa application and the interview which took place was completely on Business "A"

Now after coming to the UK and because of the number of factors including Brexit and Covid, we think the Business "A" is not going to be that profitable and feasible looking at the economic condition.

Can we change the business and set up the Ltd company to do Business "B", which is different from what we initially planned.

Will this have any impact on our extension after 3 years from now, or any impact on the ILR

Thanks

Do not start new threads. Ask additional questions in the same post

Yes, you can change business.

Just the fact that you change the business should have no impact on your extension/ILR

Congrats on getting the visa!
I am in a similar situation like yours. And started looking for a different business. Have you used any useful website/company to help with this?
