Good morning Zimba and Marcnath,

Need some help please. I am about to submit my accounts for last year aug 16-july17.
do i have to sign and post to HMRC in order to show my signatures on the accounts? or can my accountant submit my accounts electronically with electronic signatures, and then i can print/sign and post it to HO when i submit my file
No requirement for physical signatures - is that even possible now ?

I don't believe it makes any difference.

hi Marcnath,
I hope you are well. I am sure its the same repeated question which i have asked several times, but situation is very confusing.
My solicitor has advised me to recreate the DL Agreement and send it again with the Application for Ext, because my team members money which was withdrawn and DL came down to £1228 in 3 years. He said DL has to be active in accounts notes and has to be 50k collective?
My team member who already switched to ILR, has also added 25k from his Personal acc to Buss account in 5 installments, again in last month, Means His DL will be topped up to 25k in management accounts?
So, our last 3 months management accounts will show 50k investment.
Whats the best approach to handle this issue?

Do you think I should only send my un-audited accounts + management accounts (50K DL) ?
or Should i recreate my DL Agreement and send it again with Personal/business account statements by highlighting transfer which was done at initial application?
The only issue which comes to my mind is that we transferred 50k in our initial application, and our turnover was 21k for 1st year, but my team member withdrew his salary, and Accountant made complete mess by subtracting his DL.
please help me to handle this situation.

I have not gone back through the entire post from start, but I suspect you are right - this has been addressed.

Just looking at your initial post, you have already provided the evidence for your investment at the time of the initial application.

As such, the entire discussion in this question is irrelevant. You don't need to submit accounts, you don't need to submit a DL, you don't have to submit bank statements. Just one line in your application or cover letter to say that you are claiming points on the basis that investment was already accepted.

I am totally at a loss as to why you would want to create complications where there are none.

Lesser documents would mean it is easier for the CW to process your application and hopefully make a decision earlier.

So, to your question, the best approach is not to provide any of these documents.

In case they do need more information, they will contact you and you can create all the necessary documents you need at that time.

NI document is not a requirement and would probably be ignored even if you found it. Passport or birth certificates are the only valid id for British citizens

Dear Zimba & Marcnath,

can you please let me know which option to choose in this part of the form please?
proof of investment and DL form was provided in initial application being a PSW holder which i applied first?

your help is highly appreciated. Thanks a lot

K3. You must have invested no less than £200,000 (or £50,000 if, in your last grant of
leave, you were awarded points for funds of £50,000) directly into one or more businesses in
the UK. Please tick to confirm how this investment has been made (you may tick more than
one box, where applicable):
1-Part or all of the investment was made in the 12 months (or 24 months if you
were a Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur)) prior to your initial Tier 1 (Entrepreneur)
application, and you demonstrated this investment when you made your initial Tier 1
(Entrepreneur) application;

2- The investment was made during your initial period of Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) leave in
the form of a director’s loan;

3- The investment was made during your initial period of Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) leave in
the form of share capital;

4- The investment was made during your initial period of Tier 1 (Entrepreneur)
leave using funding made available by a Venture Capital firm/a UK Seed Funding
Competition/a UK Government Department;

5- The investment was made during your initial period of Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) leave
directly by you into the business, in cash;

6- The investment was made during your initial period of Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) leave
directly by a third party, but on your behalf.

Up to you, there is no requirement. Anyway, that information is in your FPS.

Well there is nothing you can do about it, so you just have to wait and see.

Why do you need to submit any CT600 at all ? You are not providing any investment evidence.

Dear Marcnath, Zimba & Admins,

Thank you for all your inputs during preparation of my application. I applied couple of weeks back, did my bio-metrics and now waiting...Hoping for the best

I need your guidance regarding one of my FT employees who has offered to resign by end of Jan whilst my case in under-process.
- Atm i have 2 FT & 1PT employees on Payroll. I was wondering is there any issue if one FT employee quits during my case is under process? I know this question is not related to the forum? but i wanted to get an idea about this please.

Secondly, both directors are on Payroll. we are planning of not taking any more salary from business? can both directors be taken off from the payroll and added at later stage?

your help is highly appreciated....

Thank you so much

You are free to change payroll for directors, fire, hire employees etc as your business needs. There are no implications to your immigration application

No one can say. There are people in this forum who got the complex letter and were approved in a couple of weeks after and others who have waited months. I am not even sure if it means anything or HO just uses it as a way of getting itself more time and meeting some internal statistics.

There is no requirement to inform HO of office changes

hi Marcnath,

Is there any way to chase/track or speed up processing of application. I am now waiting from 10 weeks?
I know a lot of people are waiting 6+ months. Just wanted to get an idea if we have to write to HO to speed up the processing?

None that I know of. Users in this forum have tried many things - contacting MP, writing letter, threatening court action through a PAP (Pre-Action Protocol), etc. And as far as I am aware, nothing makes a difference.

The only thing that may help is if you have a compelling reason for expediting - e,g, essential travel due to family or business emergencies, etc. If so, you can try writing in sending in all the details/proof of the emergency and hope for a consideration.

I still believe the only way to ensure fast turnaround is by doing a concise application in the first place, making clear all information the CW needs, and only that information, is set out very clearly. But even that is no guarantee of fast processing.

Good Morning Marcnath & Zimba,

I am in the process of relocating my business to a different address and my extension is under process from 16+ weeks now.
Do i have to inform HO about my new trading address? or is it ok to move without notifying HO?
Also, would it be better to contact my MP to speed up processing or shall i just keep on waiting like other members?

I really appreciate your advice & suggestions.

There is no requirement to inform business changes.

I am skeptical of any benefit of using the MP, but it is not going to do any harm either - so why not ? would be my approach

Hi Marcnath & Zimba,

I hope you guys are well. Can you please suggest any effective way of speeding up my case? I have been waiting from 6 months now. I know a lot of ppl are waiting from over a year.
I applied for my extension for myself and 1 dependent in dec 17, and now my wife's father is very ill. I just want to know if there is any option to write to home office to speed up the case? or can i withdraw my dependent's application but not mine? My solicitor is asking me not to contact HO?
I'd really appreciate your suggestions in my case.

Thanks alot

You can try to write in with evidence of your father-in-law's illness. HO does seem to have some option for expediting based on such circumstances though I have not seen any reports of it happening.

Hi Marcnath & Zimba,

I hope you guys are well, and thank you for always answering my questions briefly. I am still waiting for my extension from almost 7 & 1/2 months.
Due to this long wait of visa, I couldn't renew my contract with two of my potential clients. But from last 2 months, I have started online Ebay store, and its doing fine.
- I was wondering, do i need to notify HO about this change of business activities from logistics consultancy to Ebay sales?
- will there be any impact if i am called for interview?
My business partner has already got his ILR based on 10 years, and he is not participating in business at all. but, he still has active DL in company. would there be any impact on my extension?
if you could please highlight the best approach for me?
- Can I register a new company and start trading for my ebay newly setup buss?
- I am still maintaining 2 full time jobs from last 7 months? Can I use it towards ILR? I will be completing my 10 years in Mar 2020

Thanks a lot
