tier 1 (ent) dependant visa outside UK

Hi,

We want to travel ASAP. The current application time is 8 weeks for tier 1 dependants visa and we still have not got my kids passport which would take another 8 weeks to get. I wanted to know if we just get the passport for my country, travel there, and apply for my kids visa from there?

BTW I have recently got my family`s Tier 1 (ent) Extension approved.

There is also a difference of £800 in the application fee, its cheaper if we apply from abroad.

Is it possible to apply from abroad if the kid was born here and we took him out without a visa first?

I remember you created `In-country Tier 1 Entrepreneur DEPENDENT TIMELINE ONLY`. This seemed very helpful but people are not posting anything in that thread. I was thinking if you`d make one thread for timeline for dependants applying from outside.?
