We all have been waiting for the application and yet none of us have got news back from UKBA. I guess this is really terrible service. It could be the worse in my life. I submitted the application in early in July and havent got anything from UKBA.

Anyone has any news from UKBA?

Hi All,
I have been waiting for nearly 8 weeks. Not heard anything after biometrics given. I hope they will speed up the process as the Olympics rush is over.

Hey can u please share ur document list and letters template.
List of document :
passport,BRP, police certificate, photo, UK degree, bank statement for maintenance , balance confirmation from barclays ( You need try lots of branch to get the required letter otherwise they just telling you we got template in our system and we cant change it !!! (chatting shit as they can )) on letter you must show the following : name , address, account number, date , AVAILABLE money , and YOU HAVE INSTANT access to money whenever you want and you can spend it ask the bank to address the letter To UKBA tier 1 and put reference number on the letter and save the letter on your profile this will speed up the process if UKBA want to check the letter .

THATS IT

if your case is straight froward ,they will process your application within 4 weeks, mine was lost between Tier1 PSW application thats why it took month to take payment , I made formal complaint and they found it .
:P :P
I think instead of a letter if we show UK bank account statement holding 50k in it, that should be sufficient...It would be good if others will also provide their opinion....
yes that would be ok , however you need provide bank statement to claiming your maintenance fee was in your account for 90 days

Hi,
Is there any need to have 50K in Uk bank for a specific time period, 28 days or 90 day or we just have at the time of application? Like for maintenance, we have to keep for 90 day. Thanks

Hello Everone.....

It's look like no one got their Tier 1 Entr visa processed in this month.

Please update if any one receive any news from UKBA.

Thanks,

Bhaku

in my opinion they have stopped processing the tier 1 ent applications, their guide line times have not changed from the last 5 weeks. this indicate for some reason they have paused processing these applications. even in this forum we have not heard that any one has received any application decision back during the last 1 month or so.

if some one has received any decision please share with friends on this forum.

and i would suggest all who have applied for tier 1 ent, to phone and check with ukba why are they not processing the applications and for how long will it take to resume the processing.

My Friend got Visa

Post by entreprenuer11 » Mon Sep 24, 2012 11:45 am

My friend applied on 14 June 2012 he just received visa on 21 Sep 2012 for a duration of 3 years and 4 months. So at least some good news from UKBA. Also UKBA is now processing applications for applicants who attended a biometric appointment on or before 31 Aug 2012.

Main features about his application.

-From PSW to Tier 1 Entrepreneur Category D.
-Main applicant +2 dependent
-Funds maintain in India
- UKBA contacted his bank in India twice however they never contacted anyone else.
- He dis MBA from University of Sunderland, registered as self employed and working as Business Development Manager

Good luck to us all

Hi @entreprenuer11, Could you please let me know whether your friend kept all the money in overseas till application in UK is with UK BA or not.

Could you please post format of the letter he has used for overseas funds.

Could you please let us know what type of questions have been asked by UK BA to bank in overseas.

Are uk ba people going to verify the funds as per letter funds specified date. Or as per verification date?

Yes he kept money in his account for the entire period. Sorry I do not have the format of the letter. UKBA only asked bank to verify the statement he submitted. He knows this because his dad workfor the same bank.

Hi @entreprenuer11,

Thanks for the info. As per my understanding they verified the funds available on the date mentioned in the letter. They have not verified funds on date when they verify. Please confirm.

Also which state from India is he applied from. Did UK BA directly calls the bank or did some one comes to the bank to verify the letter whether it is genuine or not.

I think as per this information we do not require to maintain funds till application is with UK BA. Please confirm.
