My Immigration Advisor received the Biometrics letter on 3rd May ( Some how I didnt receive it , my fault )
Received a second letter from HO dated 22nd May ( posted to me ) with a letter saying Processing time will be more tha 8 weeks due to excessive applicants.
Biometrics done on 27th May
Now awaiting .
Last update on the website checked was 10Aug, since then It is showing Reference Number Unrecognised. I have been using my Royal mail Special Delivery and It was working fine. Anyone else having the same issue. Also tried the HO Ref without 0 but stll the same Unrecognised.

By the grace of allah Finally after 16 month i got my
Visa.it was my fresh application after my 1st one got rejected.

This makes 14 days between completion of biometrics and the decision being made and 32 days between submission of application and receipt of documents. I did not expect the processing time to be this fast, especially considering my card bounced initially. What probably contributed to fast time was that I had, in a sense, been vetted for two years by a top university (Oxbridge) for the TIer 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur) visa, so less due diligence would have been required. The application was checked through by an immigration solicitor but I did not use a full service and applied without a legal representative. I made the application as effortless as possible for the caseworker by 1) typing up the application with Adobe Acrobat instead of handwriting and 2) splitting the various components of the application each into its own file, with labelled stickers indicating what was in each file. I do not know whether this would make a difference, but I have lived in the UK for 8 years without problems and am a national of a "low-risk" (for a lack of better word) country, being American. Finally, I would advise reading the guidelines multiple times (there is more than one version online, so read all of them), writing a cover letter, and if you are unsure about your application and cannot get adequate advice here, consult a solicitor. Having the solicitor do the full application for you would probably be bad value for money unless your application is relatively weak and you have the ££££.
