I submitted my and my family's extension application (£200k route) on 26 November 2021, did our biometrics on 21 December 2021 (no earlier dates possible and didn't pay extra), received an email for interview request on 26 January 2022, had my phone interview on 3 February 2022 and received the approval today, 7 January 2022. Currently waiting for our BRPs to be sent to our solicitor's office.

Hope that helps and I hope you'll receive a decision soon! Good luck!

Thank you. Mine was a very short interview. It lasted all of 30 minutes, and this was inclusive of interviewer going over my answers again to make sure he had typed in the correct answers. The questions were:

Name of business
Position in company and role in business
Type of business
Nature of business
Who are your customers?
What market research did you carry out before deciding to invest?
What forms of advertising have you used and where have you advertised?
Do you have a business website?
Do you have a Facebook presence?
How long have you been trading from your current business premise?
What does your company name stand for?
Where did you get the money from to invest in the business?
How did you invest the funds into your business?
When did you invest the money into your business?
How many employees have worked for you and how many do you currently have working for you and what are their names and job titles?
What date did you employ each current employee?
How did you recruit your employee?
Were any of your employees known to you before you employed them?

And 2 other questions which were specific to my income statement.

Good luck!

Hi,
This is my original post and kindly ask your questions in your own post so that other experts can advise and you can keep making it useful to others as well.
Answers to your questions:
1.Documents.. Kindly check the forum and plenty of useful post with full list i.e.
uk-tier-1-entrepreneur-visas/tier-1-ext ... 24161.html
2. Each business has its own way of doing it and kindly check your way just follows the guidelines which is sufficient.

If someone still has any doubt about PAYE FPS Submission, I have used https://sourceforge.net/projects/xml-copy-editor/ software and opened FPS XML files and saved as HTML to see them in the readable format. You can submit this as an extra with what you already planned to submit.

Thanks a lot to this Admin team ( especially Marcnath on my application which got approved today) for maintaining such a information forum and it helped me a lot to keep myself strict to the guidelines.
All the best to each Entrepreneurs :-)

From Tier 1 To ILR via Accelerated Route

Post by piercebody » Wed Feb 09, 2022 7:58 pm

Hi Marcnath & Gurus,

Can you please advise is there is any slim chances of considering my request due to the Covid pandemic, travel restrictions together with Brexit. Currently, I have reached over 3.5M sales but for Accelerated ILR we need minimum 5M sales. I hope there is no exception concession rules changed to the accelerated ILR route due to the pandemic.

If there were no covid pandemic or travel restrictions with Brexit, I would have achieved 5M sales or ten employees or achieved both. If I prepare the accelerated ILR application with a consideration request in the cover letter is there is any slim chance to get success..?

Please share your thoughts and thanks a lot again for all your guidance.

Unfortunately no.
There is no negatives to trying other than the loss of application fees.
But I would be very pessimistic about the outcome. Even job creation has not been relaxed for ILR applications

Thank you Marcnath and you are correct as this could set a precedent and leave them open to challenge by anyone. Now, I am trying to achieve 5M and if not I will proceed through 5yr route.
I just want to have a clear understanding of this rule. The three yr rule is consecutive three years (36 months sales) from the application date, or last three financial years + months until the application date..??
There is a chance I may get close to it so If i know it correctly I may push a bit. Kindly share your thoughts. Thanks.
Accelerated ILR Rule:
3 years, if the applicant has:
established a new UK business with an income from business activity of at least £5 million during a 3 year period in which the applicant has had leave as a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) migrant.

It is any continuous 3 year period. Though, if you don't use your financial years, your accountants will need to create management reports for submission
