I can assure you it happens. You won’t see them on here as these are the problem pages 😉

Those that go through the initial application without interview will probably have the pleasure of a Home Office visit or interview at either visa extension or ILR. Even then there are a few cases that don’t or have never been interviewed or visited because they have plainly met and beyond all the criteria at all points.

If established business owners choose to expand into the UK, have the financial backing and knowledge then those were the very individuals that the UK was trying to attract.

The issue as always was the use of this application route by many that were at best speculative business individuals, their funds were dubious, they had no business experience and essentially it was a punt to get into the UK. That is why there are so many bad news stories on this forum and why the route in this form has been closed.

Hi Frontier

That is absolutely true that those who were not genuine entrepreneur but still got the visa and as soon as they got ILR, shut the business down.

Only because of that UK embassy shut down this visa. Applicants were more misusing it rather than making the use of it.

I had 3 chances to stay in UK before this but never took any of them as I always did what I thought would be the best way to make a better future.

I will keep you guys updated. Even if I don't get the visa but You guys have helped a lot for visa aspirants for free of cost. This is amazing. And I hope You guys can continue doing the same in future as well.

Hi Frontier!!!
Thanks for a reply. Hopefully I will find out on Friday as VFS will give file for dispatch today..

I am a bit worried because i have never heard of anyone who has been granted T1 initial visa without interview outside UK.

Lets hope they grant me Visa.

Thanks You all!!

I am planning for my wife's and my son's application. I am going to opt for priority dependent visa.

I have been given initial entry from 25th May to 25th June. I have enough time to get my wife's application.

Do you guys think, I should take my wife and my kid with me. I hope it does not effect my entry to UK.

And by the way, how much do they charge for BRP?

If your wife and child have a valid tier 1 ent visa, then there is no issue. Not sure why you belive there might.

What do you mean charge for brp?? It is free, you only collect the card from the post office you nominated.

Hi CR001

My wife does not have any visa at the moment. I have tier 1 ent. I want to apply her on dependent visa. Should I apply her now and take her with me?

Thanks for BRP clarification. Actually one of my family members told me about BRP charge, otherwise nothing is written in the letter given by HO.

Yes you can apply for a dependent visa. There is no guarantee that she will get it in time to travel with you before your 30 day visa expires.

The charge is for application within the UK to enroll biometrics or to get a replacement card if your BRP is lost.

Thanks for ur valuable feedback @CR001.

If I apply my wife for priority application, will i get it within the time? My visa is from 24th May to 23rd June approx.

I have one more query. I really dont know under which visa my should apply? I have heard that they have a different site for visa application. Can you guide me on that if its possible. And what documents would I have to put with the application?

All children must see a clinician who’ll decide if they need a chest x-ray. Children under 11 will not normally have a chest x-ray.

You must take your child to an approved clinic and complete a health questionnaire. If the clinician decides your child does not have TB they’ll give you a certificate. Include this certificate with your child’s UK visa application.

Your wife should apply for a PBS Dependant visa. It should be the same site.

Your wife does need PCC

Thank You so much for Your valuable feedback. It makes it so easy for us when you give this valuable feedback.

One more query is mentioned below if you could help.

When I applied, I submitted only FD worth Rs.13 lac. I did not include my bank statements and certificate and I got the visa. Is it ok if I include the same FDs which is in my name to opt for my wife's and my son's maintenance fund.

I am not sure of the calculations, but you cannot use the funds shown for your 200K also for the maintenance funds.

If it is a VC case, not sure why you needed to show 50K FD - isn't the money coming from the VC ? So I doubt if your FD was even considered so I can't conclude from this that FDs are ok.

Anyway, i personally think FD is fine for maintenance fees also. But there seems to have been some conflicting views on this.

Make sure you can submit the documents needed - bank statements or letter from the bank. The FD certificate on its own is not a specified document.

Hi Mcnarcth.

I applied Via VC Funding 50 k route.
I showed only Rs.13 FD as my maintenance fund. They considered it and gave me the Visa without interview.

I want to ask can the FD be considered as maintenance fund for my wife and kid as it totals more than the required sum for maintenance for 3 of us.

In my application, i did not put ny other bank proof or statement.

Buy house

Post by Mehfuz » Tue May 14, 2019 11:22 pm

Hi Experts

I will be moving to UK on 50k entrepreneur route vc Funding. I have few questions below.

1. How much money can i transfer from my Indian bank account to my UK bank account? Is there a cap on amount of money transfer?

2. Can I opt for mortgage to buy a house in UK if i put 35% of the house price as Deposit. ?

3. Can my father transfer money from his Indian bank account to my bank account in UK?

4. If yes, what is the maximum amount that he can transfer?
5. Will there be a problem in my extension after 3 years if a) I transfer money from my Indian acc to Uk account?
b) if my father transfer more thank 50 k , will HO not think that why did I opt for VC if I already had the money?

Please do NOT start new posts for your case. Also remember that this is an immigration forum and non-immigration related question are not relevant here.
For extension you must show that the VC invested at least 50K in your business. You will not be limited to VC funding and you can add your own funds in addition to VC funds. Questions regarding mortgage and money transfer are not relevant to immigration rules. The rules do not set any restrictions or limits for those. You need to talk to your bank and mortgage advisors for those questions however you cannot use your investments to invest in property as that will not count.
Advice is given based on my personal research and experience only. Do NOT contact me via private message for immigration advice

Hi Mehfuz

Congratualtions on getting the visa!

Just curious, if the Tier-1 E applications have stopped from 1st April 2019, how would you be able to apply for dependent visa now?
