Urgent!! entrepreneur ext interview call at my premises

Hello Everyone,
I have received interview call today for my tier1 entrepreneur extension. It’s next week on Wednesday.
Can you please help what sort of questions do they ask though I have gone through the questionnaire but I want to know. Do they ask for documents or bank statements to show them online on that particular time itself. Also the questions they ask randomly upon your answers or they prepare list of questions earlier and ask those questions only like in the interview which they took in home office premises.
Please help me out guys!!

Also is it compulsory to employees should be present at the time of interview?

what's your timeline .when did you applied.
whats's your nature of business, was it in profit.
Employee present would be added advantage.
keep the file ready for documents and bank statements...keep things handy, looks professional

Did you received partial refund? If yes when it was transferred into your account?

They have already questions list....
mostly reading your business and also immigration history. Some hints are;
Marketing
Advertising
Employment
Investment
Competition
And etc

And yes they can ask you show online bank statement as well.

Hi, you can search the forum for interview questions that can help you prepare and the sort of document you will need to have handy. Regarding employee presence that depends on the reason for their absence. But It will be better to have them present. Good luck.

To be honest, they can ask about bank statements. They asked me about my business bank statements and i said everything is online these days as i do not store paper statements. However, they did not ask me to show online statements at the time of interview. I offered them to provide them the statements if required but they never asked.

You should still be well prepared. My interview was conducted in Sep 2017. I think that was one of the earliest batch when HO started to conduct interviews at premises rather than HO centres. So That early batch did not have access to the valuable content people share on this forum.

However now there is excellent content on this forum regarding all questions about the interview. The main body will be the same but ofcourse the counter questioning will be tailored acording to your business nature and your responses.

Try to respond to the point giving necessary information as required. The more unnecessary info you give, more counter questions. Try to stick with your positive points/aspects of business. In the end be confident. You know your business best and the reasons to justify. Answer with confidence.

However, if an employee is present during interview it definitely will give a positive impact. Even if they are not present but you can justify that it should be fine as long you can confidently give an explaination.

Some quick tips
1) keep all the documentation in soft form so that upon request you could print them on one single click. Documentation includes bank statements, invoices sales and purchases, employees contract, employees health and safety induction, office risk assessment, business health and safety policy, documents related to accounts, p60s, p45, payslips, fps, employee pension record, Communication with employees and clients, Job advertisement proof just in case if any employee has resigned. Record of CVs you received through advertisement
2) Also make some paper based files as it looks professional
3) You should have in depth knowledge of your business activities, your suppliers and customers, your employees job role, important figures turn over, corporation tax, expenses, employees pay rate and hours they are working
4) Having employees present on site/office/client premises will be an advantage

Hi actually i have postponed my interview to 29th. There were 2 persons who came to take interview. They have started with basic information. Then questions about background studies work experience and how it is related to business then they asked about business and few questions related to premises why do you choose this area etc etc then investment and about advertisement and marketing then clients then about employees and some questions related to HSE and employee rights. It was a long interview for more than 2 hours. I have answered almost around 80 to 90% of questions correctly that’s what i think apart from some stupid accounting related questions and they asked me to show work which you have done that I didn’t had at the time of interview but i have shown some which was in my other laptop. But there is nothing to worry about if you are genuinely doing business. Have you got call for interview?

Brother can you tell me please, how long did they took to respond after your interview?

In my case Home Office gave decision 4 weeks after the interview
interviewed in March, approval in April
