Thanks Marcnath, Zimba and other seniours and juniors for helping in completing Tier 1 Entrepreneur Partner (dependent) visa outside UK for entry clearance for my wife.

I am glad to share my wife application experience with you all of you and it may help others who are applying for their wives Tier 1 Entrepreneur Partner (Dependent) outside united kingdom for entry clearance Visa.

With blessing of God, my wife got visa in 10 working days. Below is the timeline and documentation for my wife application.

Just to let you know one thing that nowadays VFS centres do scanning of documentation, they dont send original (except passport) and they dont need the photocopied set of documentation. They just do scanning of originals. All application are sent to UKVI directly in united kindom now.

Timeline:
Applied on 1st week of April 2018 and submitted online in same week
Received message from VFS to collect application in start of 3rd week.

Documentation:

A) (WIFE - APPLICANT) DOCUMENTS:-
1. Application form.
2. Original Passport.
3. Two photographs.
4. Confirmation of payment of Visa fee for Tier 1 Entrepreneur Partner
5. Confirmation of payment of Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS)
6. Sponsor letter from husband. (just mentioned in middle that I am director of my company only).
7. Original TB Test Report from IOM Karachi
8. Copy of Provisional air ticket travel booking confirmation
9. Wedding Invitation cards from both sides.
10. Whatsapp, Skype, Facebook, and Messenger Chat history and call logs (taken all screenshot in mobile and printed).
11. Original Police Verification Report of wife.
12. Original Marriage Certificate.
13. Original birth certificate of applicant
14. Photostat copy of computerized National Identity Card in original format with translation in English.
15. Photostat copy of Family Registration Certificate in the name of my her father issued by Govt showing all the names of his legal heirs including my wife name.
16. Photostat copies of Certificates of education (not neccessary but added)

B) DOCUMENT FROM - HUSBAND/SPONSOR:-

17. Photostat copy of T1 HS Entrepreneur with all visas
18. Photostat copies of all passports (New and old)
19. Photostat copy of National Insurance Number.
20. Original recent bank statement balance for more than 90 days and no more than 31 days before the application is submitted (£630 for my wife (if you are leaving on given visa for more than 12 months) and i kept 945 or 975 for myself altogerther £1700 plus)
21. Original and photostat copy of letter from Accountant (not required but i added showing that he is my accountant and my company tax affairs are all ok and upto date)
23. Print out of Certificate of Incorporation for my company (not required but i added)
24. Photostat copy of Family Registration Certificate of my family issued by govt showing all the names of legal heirs including my name.
25. Printout of Shorthold Tenancy/Rent Agreement (which is shared rented property with my brother and i did not have any survey report nothing)

Hope you all are at best of your health.

I have recently applied for my ILR in the 1st week of April 2019 and attended Sopra Steria at end of same month.

Now I am gathering documents for my Wife Visa (she is currently on Tier 1 Entrepreneur Dependent route since 11 months and her visa expires in 1st week of June 2019).

In Short, I am making Tier 1 Entrepreneur Dependent extension application for her and have gathered following documents as checklist:

Dependent Personal Documents (all to be uploaded in Proof of Application Section)

1) Application Form online
2) IHS Payment £1200
3) Cover Letter from her.
4)Current Passport
5) BRP card ( expiring 1st week of June)

Maintainance Funds (to be uploaded in Finances section:

1) 90 days bank statement of mine.

Cohabition Documents (where to upload, which section):

1) NHS Registration
2) Newham Council Voting Registeration
3) Natwest Bank Statement hers personal
4) Tenancy Agreement (it just have my name on it, not my wife).
5) Revolut Bank Statement (online bank)
6) Natwest Welcome Letter
7) Payslips and employer letter

other letters.
9) Marriage Certificate

Residence in UK:

1) BRP of her

Do i need to put my all passports as well here?

Proof of identity/ Travel History:

1) Her passport with sticker visa with exit and entry dates.

Sponsors/ Employment:

1) My Current Passport
2) My current BRP
3) Cover Letter from me.

Do i need to upload business documents like accounts etc?

Do i need to include my acknowledgement, sopra Steria appointment letter in Sponsors section?

Please suggest, am i missing anything?

PBS Dependant visa extension should be straightforward.

Travel documents, maintenance funds, IHS and that should be it.

Why are you providing all the rest ?

You need those for ILR, not for a dependant visa extension.

Hi Marcnath.

Yesterday i filled online application form for my wife as PBS Tier 1 Dependent. All went good but IHS is just showing £200.

My wife 1st visa was issued in May 2018, she came uk 1st time (entry clearance) in June 2018. Visa ending 1st week of June 2019.

IHS page asked me person/partner you are joining details during IHS payment page and inserted my details and selected my visa ategory Tier 1 Entrepreneur Extension - 2 years

Now when I try to do again, its skipping every page and direct me to pay £200.

As far as i know, she is supposed to pay £1200 for 3 years application but it is showing £200.

Anyone has experienced same situation?

It is because you have put your current visa expiry date.

Presumably you have not got ILR as yet??

I did insert visa expiry date because it asked for it..
Expiry is same as my wife i.e. 1st week of june.

I have not got ILR yet.

How to reset this IHS payment. It is just saying "Pay" option. No option to go back.

Any solution?

Not sure you can change it now. You could pay it separately on the IHS website or wait for HO to contact you to pay.

Her application will fail if your ILR fails. If you are still waiting for ILR, her application will simply be put on hold and it would be prudent to ask HO to do this pending your ILR.

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone applied for dependent as PBS Tier 1 Entrepreneur Dependent inside UK while main applicant ILR decision is awaiting decision?

Main reason to ask this question is that, does Caseworker hold dpendent application till main applicant decison arrive?

In few cases, the case worker refuse the case because its thier discretion to hold application or not.

Has anyone encountered refusal of dependent while thier ILR awaiting decision?

Hi Experts
I have got Tier 1 ent 50 k route entry clearance vusa from 24th May 2019 to 24 th june 2019. I applied from India and I am planning to enter UK on 14th of June.

Is it okay if I apply my wife and son on Tier 1 ent dependent visa even though I have not entered UK yet.

The reason I want to take my family with me in a hurry because my wife is 3 months pregnant and I want to be with her while she travels.

Please advise.

and pay exact amount IHS £1200 for 3 years extension?

Just pay whatever it’s asking for now.
Write a cover letter for the attention of case worker abt ur pending ILR application and that ur wife’s application should be held till ur app is decided. Also mention you could only pay £200 and you’d be happy to pay the rest on request.

You should stick to ur own thread instead of tagging on someone’s else’s post.
You should apply immediately for PBS Dependant visa from wherever ur based. Nothing to do with you being in UK.

But really I am very confused that they may give her just 6 months visa (normally IHS £400 per year) rather than 3 years ( if caseworker dont ask for additional IHS fees of £1000) if my ILR gets approved.

What do u say?

And that’s why u and your wife are writing a cover letter to support the application.
She has to apply before her current visa expires.
She will be granted a visa in line with you.

A just used IHS Calculator to check, and it displayed correct £1200 for 3 years but it did not ask main applicant (mine) details and neither asked any visa expiry of wife nor mine.

You are right just pay this and write cover letter.

That’s because the calculator is for everyone.

You are right just pay this and write cover letter.

Even if I fill again new application, its going to be same issue.

The IHS calculator page also states

“You’ll get an email from UK Visas and Immigration if you do not pay the surcharge (or do not pay enough) as part of your visa or immigration application”

But for postal applications which clearly you aren’t. You could pay the balance of the surcharge via this route and add the necessary details to the cover letter.

Actually because the latter link won’t work out as you’ll still have to give details of main applicants visa expiry date and the end result will be the same as in the online application.
