Hi Misscherubic,

The response from Bus answers your question and I think it is better to submit a business plan with your application.

It is also good to submit a contract with your application or a letter from the Bank confirming that your business is actively trading.

I can understand how challenging the application process is, it will end in praise by God's grace.

Do ve a wonderful evening.

Cheers

Congrats Toludo on getting your visa.

Now just a couple of things I would like to ask you:

1) Why did you provide Indemnity insurance ? Is there a specific indemnity insurance catered for business consultants ?

2) Correct me if I am wrong but British Computer Society is not a regulator. I know its not free so what purpose do you think it served ?

Thanks for reading and providing answers (in anticipation)

Hi MissCherubic,

I understand your concerns in relation to the contract side of things, in the past some people have used PPI contracts and have had their visas approved while some others had theirs rejected depending on Case Worker, I am not sure if it falls under NQF level 4 Job code hence your best bet is to get a letter from your Bank to show evidence that you are trading. You can always do your Business Plan and just include the name of your agency and amount the contract is for. I think you will be better off using SOC code 2423 Management Consultant and Business Analyst and probably look for a qualification/Certification in that line which might help your application.

Hi Nasirkhan,

Thanks for the compliment, my business has always had indemnity insurance even prior to Visa application which I reckon dates back to over a year now. And I am a member of BCS as I am a Certified Business Analyst, I only included all professional bodies membership as I believed it will enhance my application.

I will be happy to answer any other questions.

Regards

Hi
Hope you can give me some hints.

I submitted my application on Jun 16 2014 and just received two emails from Manila visa hub. It mentioned ...your visa will be despatched shortly... You can collect your passport after 3 days......

Have you got the same kind of email with same wordings when your visa was approved? As it makes me really confuse after read more info from the net and it may just a standard auto reply format. Really can't wait and want to know anybody out here got the same experience? Anything can share with me?

If it's rejected, what kind of wording will it be used then??

Appreciated for promptly reply. :o

Hello Toludo

thanks for your reply

I am in process of completing my business plan, as advised i m going by SOC 2423.
Now i have a query, whilst writing the plan i have to do competitor profiling - how did you chose your competitor for profiling purposes, is there a special way you used or just some random firm names operating in the industry?

Also you might remember i told you about my PPI contract job via my ltd company, i m planning to get a letter from bank re status of co trading already, i have read here on few posts about a contract for services should be in place - Now i do have a contract of service with this agency who got me this project but including their full contract doesnt seems like a wise idea as it will show my job title as PPI handler which again isnt in teh SOC level 4 list, how should i get around it?

how did u worked out this contract malarkey

look forward to hear from you

many thanks in anticipation xx
