Correct. Any evidence can be used for cohabitation
For the extension of Tier 1 Entrepreneur (main applicant and dependant wife applying together), do we really need to to provide evidence to show cohabitation? I can't see such requirement in the online application form or https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... attributes ?

In application for the extension of Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa, do I need to enclose a personal statement (letter written by myself) to meet the following requirement or any other requirement?
(c) regardless of whether the applicant is self-employed, a director or member, they must also provide:

(i) an overview of the business’s activity, including an explanation of the goods or services it provides to its customers or clients; and
(ii) the applicant’s job title and job description, setting out their role within the company, how they are implementing their business plan and what their main tasks and responsibilities are in running the business on a day-to-day basis.
Can this be provided as a letter from the founder/CEO of our company as well as a solicitor representation letter?
Why can't you write it yourself?
My comments are in no way meant to be advisory. I have no professional knowledge of immigration. These are based on my own experience, convictions and personal interpretation of publicly available information.

It is not a requirement for extension but useful to provide, as far as I am aware

So I do need to write a personal statement for the application? This doesn't seem to be mentioned/required by the online application form or document checklist.

I am not sure what level of detail I should provide to show "how they are implementing their business plan" and "running the business on a day-to-day basis". Could you advise? Is there an example personal statement to meet this requirement?

Not sure what you mean by personal statement. The requirement is exactly what you set out - job description, roles and responsibilities. There is no example/template for this.

The key document you need to follow is the guidance document. The checklist from the online application form is not always the most dependable one.

Are you referring to the guidance document at https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... gov-uk.pdf ? It does not seem to have the proof of day-to-day business activity as required in 48(c) of https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... attributes ?

What should I provide to show "how they are implementing their business plan" and "running the business on a day-to-day basis"? Do I need include some examples of our board meeting details, contracts with our clients, etc.?

Post by wxyuanilr » Tue Nov 24, 2020 4:30 pm

Could someone advise what sort of evidence I need to provide to show "how they are implementing their business plan" and "running the business on a day-to-day basis"?

I have two questions:
Are you implementing your business plan currently?
Are you running the business on a day to day basis currently?

Sure, but my questinos is how I should demonstrate that to UKVI, i.e. what sorts of documents I need to upload to UKVCAS to meet this Paragraph 48(c) requirement of Appendix A?

One more question:
Do you have any evidence that makes you so sure?

I am going to assume you will answer "sure" to that also. And if that is true, then you have the evidence to submit to HO.
