GTV Stage 2 Visa Approach

Post by bobby4321 » Mon Jul 12, 2021 12:11 pm

Hi,
I already got my GTV Stage 1 endorsement from Tech Nation in digital technology.

I and my family are currently on Tier 2 ( General ) Visa Status. Some other facts

1) CoS expiring July end
2) UK Visa expiring in August mid
3) My GTV Stage 2 application can be applied till October
4) I and my family is living in UK on Tier 2 since Sept 2020
5) Working for UK employer since April 2020
6) Due to Covid lockdown in the two countries India and UK worked remotely from India from April 2020 till mid September 2020
7) UK eP60 2021 form state all the salary got from UK employer
8)Already got contract extended till Jan 2022
10) UK employer working on CoS extension

My questions on GTV Stage 2 application approach

a) Should I apply for 2 years GTV & Immigration health surcharge (IHS) in August mid ( 2 days before expiring of my current Visa) ? As for UK ILR i.e. indefinite leave to remain I have to stay continuously for 3 years in UK ( including GTV + skilled worker Visa i.e. Tier 2 ). Or I should apply GTV for 3 years
b) How many years GTV dependent Visa I should apply for my immediate family keeping in mind ILR for them? GTV for 2 or 3 or 5 years???
c) How many maximum days we can have between online GTV application and BRP appointment?

Thanks,
Bobby

Hi,

Please refer to the latest guideline for Global Talent Visa. You should be able to find most of the answers.
1. You know when to apply better than anyone else as you are aware of your situation. Yes, you may combine time spent in Tier2 towards the qualifying period. See the Global Talent Visa Guidance for more.

2. Again check the guideline.

3. Max 45 days but you need to check this yourself.

All the best,
F

Thanks fredprvn!

On the point #3 i.e. 3. Max 45 days but you need to check this yourself.

Is there any way I can check this?

Thanks,
Lalit
