T2 ICT to Global Talent

Hi All,
A couple of quick question.
I switched from Tier2 ICT to Global Talent on last October.

The visa condition says, Employment allowed:

"any work for an employer, as a director of a company or self-employed, providing it complies with relevant employment laws"

Does "any work for an employer" elaborates to working as a principal software engineer or tech lead etc? Or the designation should be always "director".?
